Mentoring Program
Looking for advice from a seasoned attorney?
Searching for a way to connect with new lawyers?
Be a part of the attorney mentoring program and promote professionalism and collegiality within the legal community.
New Lawyers: Have a question and struggling to find the answer?
When confronted with a legal issue you haven’t previously faced, or if just looking for general advice regarding the practice, the Attorney Mentoring Program is just a phone call away. This unique feature offers Oneida County Bar Association Members the opportunity to get advice from experienced attorneys. Mentors are OCBA members that are knowledgeable practitioners in good standing, have practiced law for more than ten years and have volunteered to advise other attorneys on selected legal topics.
Interested in being a Mentor?
In addition to being a great service to members, the Attorney Mentoring Program is also a rewarding experience for OCBA members. It offers a valuable opportunity for experienced attorneys to provide advice and direction to new attorneys and helps those colleagues who may be handling a matter where they might not have the needed expertise. OCBA members who volunteer as Mentors help promote professionalism and collegiality within the legal profession.
The OCBA welcomes Mentors and Mentees in all areas of the law.
If you wish to be a Mentor or Mentee, please contact Diane at the Bar Association Office, email: diane@oneidacountybar.org or you may call 724-4901.
